A Stunning Socially Distanced Wedding Ceremony with Sixteen Guests

Determined not to let Covid-19 get in the way of their love after their April date was postponed, Tom and Alice held a stunning wedding ceremony in August with sixteen guests. Taking the walk down the aisle together, the love between this beautiful pair speaks for itself and was perfectly captured by Lauren Juliette Photography. Proving that love conquers Covid, the Blackfriars team were delighted to be a part of this special day <3

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE BLACKFRIARS PRIORY?

We wanted a historical venue with character and, my goodness, Blackfriars delivered. The minute we stepped through the archway into the cloister’s garden, we knew Blackfriars was the venue for us.

As we got married during the pandemic, we could not style the venue as we had planned. Nevertheless, the beauty of Blackfriars still shone through, creating exactly the atmosphere we wanted.

Be flexible as you never know what is around the corner. It’s also really important to have suppliers you trust. Holly and the team were incredibly supportive throughout. This made our lives so much easier.
