TELL US ABOUT YOUR ROLE:  
Showing visitors the hidden features of the buildings they may have missed on their own and generally taking care of the buildings and it’s users .

HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED AT BLACKFRIARS?     
It must have been 2012. Originally I was just the bar manager but now I am a duty manager and can enjoy all aspects of the building.  

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKING DAY FOR SUE LOOK LIKE?
No such thing as a typical day which makes for great variety. It can be looking after a corporate meeting for 10 people or a wedding for 150.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT FROM YOUR TIME AT BLACKFRIARS SO FAR?
It would have to be The Underground Festival 2019 - helping look after a variety of bands throughout the day and evening.  

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FEATURE OF THE PRIORY?    
That would have to be the Monk graffiti in the Scriptorium .

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?    
Reading, gardening and planning holidays with my family.

YOU’RE AT A WEDDING… WHAT SONG GETS YOU UP ON THE DANCEFLOOR?
I like all kinds of music but something with a good beat… as long as someone else is dancing and I have had a glass of wine.   

IT’S A RELAXED SUNDAY AFTERNOON… WHAT FILM DO YOU POP ON?
That has to be Columbo - you know who did it from the start so if you fall asleep it doesn’t matter.

TELL US A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF:      
I once went for a hike in the Borneo Rain Forest to see a formation of limestone rocks called the Pinnacles .
