TELL US ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
When couples get in touch with a wedding enquiry, I’m their first point of contact at the Priory. As well helping couples start plan their special day, I create blogs and content for our website and add posts to our social media channels. 

HOW LONG HAVE YOUR WORKED AT BLACKFRIARS?
Since the beginning of 2012.  

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKING DAY FOR VICKI LOOK LIKE?
I have a very varied role, so no day is the same. Most start with responding to wedding enquiries but as well as my role at Blackfriars, I have duties at our sister venue, Gloucester Guildhall and the Museum of Gloucester, so by the afternoon I could be programming a workshop, meeting a customer to discuss a private room hire or scheduling social media content for one, or all, of the venues. 

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT FROM YOUR TIME AT THE PRIORY SO FAR?
The great thing about being a part of the Blackfriars team since we officially opened in 2012, has been seeing the venue transform over the years. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FEATURE OF THE PRIORY?  
The fireplaces in the North Range are amazing. The different levels, show us where floors were installed in the 16th century when Thomas Bell converted the space into a mansion. 

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I love my dog, family and being outside. The ideal day would be going out for a walk and finding somewhere to stop to eat along the way. You may also catch me at a country music gig or festival too! 

YOU’RE AT A WEDDING… WHAT SONG GETS YOU UP ON THE DANCEFLOOR?
As long as I'm not alone, I'll dance to pretty much anything. 

IT’S A RELAXED SUNDAY AFTERNOON… WHAT FILM DO YOU POP ON?
It would be between Back to the Future (watched in order, of course) or Dirty Dancing.

Outside of work I’m a volunteer Fundraising and Events Team Leader for a dog rescue and rehoming charity.
